City Council District 2

City Councilwoman Sue Tyler’s first two terms have kept her extremely busy.

Sue has worked diligently to resolve constituent complaints for all residents, helped create fair and respectful ordinances, wholeheartedly supported our men & women in blue at BPD, and skillfully negotiated real estate transactions that benefit the City.

Additionally, her work with our senior population assists many of our aging neighbors with a host of issues and as the Chairwoman of the Code Enforcement Committee, works tirelessly on improving our neighborhoods and the overall marketability of the City of Bristol.

Sue’s work with our vulnerable homeless population makes her one member of the team trying to combat our housing crisis.

Sue’s slogan throughout her four years on the Council is :

#TeamBristol

Her open door policy and frequent constituent meetings have drawn many people into becoming more involved in their community.

Her support for Bristol businesses comes not only from personal connection, but the recognition that local businesses are the backbone to our community.

Sue is married to her husband and business partner, Bill.

They have three adult children, one grandchild, and keeping them company in their Chippens Hill home is their Golden Retriever, Madison.
